HP killing Slate project paves the way for Palm WebOS to become HP's tablet OS.
HP has killed off it's much anticipated Slate project that was expected to utilize the Windows 7 OS. Initial accounts of the device cited that the Slate running Windows 7 OS functioned too much like a netbook without a keyboard. Tighter integration of Palm WebOS with HP's Slate could be the answer. For now, we'll just have to wait and see.
