True Hip-Hop Stories: Special Ed from D-Nice on Vimeo.
In this episode of True Hip-Hop Stories, Special Ed discusses the making of his hit recording I Got It Made. He also gives his thoughts on the Rick Ross & John Legend collaboration Magnificent, which was inspired by Ed’s song I’m The Magnificent.
This is a very cool senior project from Bang-yao Liu at Savannah College of Art and Design. Here’s how he describes the project: ‘Where my idea comes from is that every time when I am busy, I feel that I am not fighting with my works, I am fighting with those post-it notes and deadline. I manipulating the post-it notes to do pixel-like stop motion and there are some interactions between real actor and post-its.”

1. Palm Pre demo video
Thanks to precentraldotnet for the excellent video on YouTube. Everything the average person needs to know about the Palm Pre in under 10 minutes.
2. Sprint – Palm Pre website.
The site’s a bit of a beast to use and the overuse of Flash make it more distracting to me than useful. I keep harping on the fact that flashy micro-sites are on the road to extinction. Well, here’s a great example why.

8. Why Apple wins. every. time. on TechCrunchIT
“You want video. Here it is. You want devs to have video. Here it is. You want to edit video in place without loading Quicktime Pro or even knowing what it is. Here it is. You want the video menu and nav tools to disapper. They’re gone. You want them back. Here they are.”

9. It’s iPhone Day: How’s the Palm Pre Holding Up?
“it’s easy to forget that this weekend also saw the release of another very promising smartphone, one that could be the hottest competition Apple has had to-date: the Palm Pre. So while Apple has completely stolen the day’s thunder, it’s probably not a bad idea to check in and see how the Pre is doing after its first weekend in the wild.”

10. Where to Find the Marketer Opportunities in the New iPhone
“Speed (yes, that’s what the “S” stands for) is the key. Billed by Apple as the “fastest, most powerful iPhone,” the new handset from the Cupertino, Calif.-based company will provide faster downloads, while the phone’s greater memory and processing speed will allow advertisers to dial up more rich-media ad units. The news coincides with AT&T’s recent announcement that it is upgrading its 3G network to deliver data faster.”
