Sneaker Freaker Best of 2007

sneakerfreaker.jpg

Check out the best of the Class of 2007 presented by the folks over at Sneaker Freaker. In a year ripe full of sneaker new releases bought to the marketplace it looks like Nike is once again dominating the game with a sprinkling of a few hot pieces by Adidas and Puma. Clae cracked the list as well which definitely put a smile of my face. The list was a compilation of picks from the usual sneaker culture taste makers such as Claw Money, Bobbito, and Thomas from Overkill.

Adobe Interactive Wall

In conjunction with the launch of Adobe’s CS3, this interactive mural installation was designed by Brand New School for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco. Using some fairly sophisticated programming and tracking hardware, peoples’ movements are recorded and translated into an animated mixed-media mural that reflects the creative license afforded by the new Adobe CS3 software package. From left to right, the mural evolves from simplicty to complexity as more elements are introduced.

Bjornborg.com

Featured on the theFWA.com as their most recent site of the month and created by Farfar in Sweden, the highly stylized and quirky Bjornborg.com site tells an ongoing story about a fashion company run by a group of very peculiar characters. There are some very cool uses of Flash video and lots of long legged fleshy models prancing around in underwear.
